Cover the ground under your work area before starting. 2. New Bamboo: first clean with Exotan Teak Cleaner to remove some of the natural Bamboo oils. 3. Before using the Bamboo Protec on dark grey Bamboo, clean the wood with our teak cleaner. 4. Make sure the Bamboo is 100% dry and free of dust. 5. Shake for at least one minute before use. Apply a thin layer of Bamboo Protec with an Exotan application cloth. 6. Allow to dry for one hour and then apply a second thin coat of Bamboo Protec. Let the Bamboo dry for 48 hours before exposure to moisture. 7. It is recommended that you treat your Bamboo with Bamboo Protec once a year. Tabletops at least twice a year.
