Maan organic sidetable/desk mdf dark brown

Wow, this is one of our favorites! Do you use it as a desk or as a side table? Perfect for both purposes! Thanks to the organic top and the playfully placed legs, it is an eye-catcher in any room! The Maan side table comes from the Exclusive collection of WOOOD and is made of MDF with a warm and atmospheric dark brown finish.

Maan has a height of 75 cm, a width of 150 cm and a depth of 70 cm. The top has a thickness of 4.5 cm. The leg height is 70.5 with a thickness: Ø 29.5 cm / 16 cm. The carrying capacity of Maan is: 100 kg. The desk itself weighs 32.6 kg

The MDF board material from our collections is formed from pressed wood fibres which are bonded under pressure using resin. This gives this material a very smooth surface. 3D paper is a material to create a three-dimensional effect or texture on, for example, a table top. This can be done by cutting, folding or pressing the paper in layers or patterns, so that a depth or relief effect is created. A piece of furniture finished with 3D paper furniture gives an artistic and unique look, but has limited structural strength and is sensitive to moisture and wear.

Maintenance
The advantage of pressed board material is that it will not splinter or warp. However, this material is very sensitive to moisture and heat in its unprocessed or damaged form due to its highly absorbent effect. This causes the MDF to expand and can no longer return to its original state. For this reason, all our MDF items are thoroughly treated with a protective coating. Protect the table from hard and sharp materials to avoid scratches. Using extra protection ensures that the table does not get scratches or stains, which gives the table a longer lifespan. With the right maintenance, a 3D paper table top can be a long-lasting and attractive addition to your interior, but it does require care and protection from the elements. The color of the paper can fade over time if it is exposed to direct sunlight. If the 3D paper is not properly protected, the paint or ink on the paper can flake off or fade. Paper is not naturally water-resistant, making it susceptible to damage when exposed to moisture or water. It can wrinkle, warp or discolor if it is not properly protected. Since the paper has a delicate texture, it is important to avoid placing sharp or heavy objects on the table top. Stains should be cleaned immediately with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using aggressive cleaning agents as these can damage the paper.

Delivery
The item is delivered in two packages and comes with clear instructions for assembly. Place felt pads on the bottom of the leg to protect hard floors.
