Walnut is a soft type of wood that is easy to work with. Walnut is known for its warm brown hue and fairly straight grain. This item is covered with a walnut veneer, these strips are glued to a smooth type of wood and finished with a transparent, protective coating. Treated walnut veneer is easy to clean with a slightly damp, clean cloth. Drying ensures a streak-free result. Walnut is known to be quite vulnerable and to discolor when in contact with iron. For this reason, it is not recommended to place walnut furniture outside. Walnut veneer does not require (re)treatment.
