We produce 60% of our collection in Europe

We consciously choose to keep our production close to home. More than 60% of our collection is made in Europe, with as much as 30% produced in our own factory in North Holland (owned by De Eekhoorn Dutch Furniture, the parent company of WOOOD). By producing in Europe, we keep the lines short, keep distances within the production chain relatively limited and can respond more quickly. With craftsmanship, production close to home and a healthy dose of common sense, we make furniture you can rely on.

We make durable furniture that lasts

Part of our collection is made from solid wood. This material is sturdy and, depending on use and maintenance, can last for a long time. In addition, solid wood can often be repaired or refurbished.

Our wood comes from well-managed forests

Part of our collection consists of FSC®-certified products from our supplier De Eekhoorn Dutch Furniture (licence code: FSC C002712). The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is committed to promoting responsible forest management worldwide. The FSC standards for responsible forest management support healthy ecosystems and help protect the rights of workers, Indigenous Peoples and local communities. Behind these standards is a rigorous process involving multiple stakeholders, seeking a balance between environmental, social and economic interests.

Energy supply

Solar panels are installed at the De Eekhoorn Dutch Furniture headquarters, warehouse and factory in the Netherlands. In 2025, 86% of the electricity consumption at these locations was generated by our own solar panels.
