Description
Makes teak and other hardwoods water- and dirt-repellent and helps prevent stains. Teak Protec gives the wood long-term protection against dirt, grease, olive oil, coffee, etc.
It is an invisible impregnating agent that preserves the natural look of the wood. After a meal, the tabletop can simply be cleaned with a damp cloth. This also makes Teak Protec ideal for indoor use or for tables under verandas.
Instructions for use
1. Eye protection and rubber gloves should be worn. Cover the ground under your work area before starting.
2. New teak: first clean with Exotan Teak Cleaner to remove some of the natural teak oils.
3. Before using the Teak Protec on dark grey teak, clean the wood with our teak cleaner.
4. Make sure the teak is 100% dry and free of dust.
5. Shake for at least one minute before use. Apply a thin layer of Teak Protec with an Exotan application cloth.
6. Allow to dry for one hour and then apply a second thin coat of Teak Protec. Let the teak dry for 48 hours before exposure to moisture.
7. It is recommended that you treat your teak with Teak Protec once a year. Tabletops at least twice a year.
